If the player runs out of Life Tokens, they will be eliminated the next time they answer incorrectly. If the player has any Life Tokens, answering incorrectly will use up a Life Token and allow the player to continue on (the answer will be counted as correct). Not selecting an answer on time also counts as an incorrect answer. Once an answer is selected, it cannot be changed. This stage consists of 15 questions with time limits that get shorter as the quiz progresses (17 seconds for the first 5 questions, 14 seconds for the next 5 and 12 seconds for the last 5). Players can only choose one session and must arrive on time. The Midterms are held every Saturday at 2:30 and 12:30 UTC. Answer 6 questions correctly to qualify for the Midterm of the week, and 9 questions correctly to earn a Life Token for the Midterm (You can have up to 3 Midterm Life Tokens). Any incorrect answers will only affect the rewards for the day. Players can ask for help from their alliance 3 times. This stage consists of 10 questions with no time limit. Anyone with a Lyceum of Wisdom can participate. The Preliminaries are held every weekday from 0:00 to 23:00 UTC, after which there will be a 1 hour maintenance period. The quiz not only includes game related questions, but also questions about history and other areas of knowledge. The event occurs every month, and consists of 3 phases: the Preliminaries, the Midterms and the Final Exam.
